i'd speak up but i'm waiting for the irony to fall asleep without me

Now more than ever do I realize that I will never be content with a sedentary life, that I will always be haunted by thoughts of a sun-drenched elsewhere.

You have to stop being so fucking annoying. Okay, baby?

I really like the Tickles but I feel kind of left out and it’s making me really sad right now. Jeff, Lauryn, mom, and Steve’s best friends are all Tickles. It’s awesome for them but I wish my friends were here.

I got pulled over tonight, for the first time. I didn’t think that would ever actually happen. I’m probably the worst driver in the world. I cut this woman off two times. It was ridiculously unlucky that it was the same woman twice. I didn’t mean to at all. She called the cops and told them. Somehow he found me at Giant Eagle, (Note to self: don’t drive to Giant Eagle in Green, it will never work out.) he followed me out of Giant Eagle to observe me. I accidentally went half way into the wrong lane then got back in the right one. He turns his lights on and Brook said I was getting pulled over. I probably wouldn’t have known if Brook wasn’t with me. I didn’t know what to do, that was the scariest part. I was in the middle of the road there were cars all around I didn’t know how to pull over. No one ever taught me that. So I drive down the road and turned and finally pull over. He comes over and asks if there was a reason why I didn’t pull over a half mile up the road, and I told him I didn’t know how. He was really nice. He told me the woman called and stuff. Then he told me to call my mom. “Mom, the police officer wants to talk to you.” She freaked out like did you get in an accident?! He talked to her for a little bit. It didn’t even occur to me to take a picture until it was too late, my camera was out and ready and he then walked back up and I didn’t get to take one. It turned out okay and I didn’t get a ticket, but I feel like the worst driver in the world.

I wrote this five years ago. I’ve probably been pulled over 40 times by now. That really doesn’t make me sound good, but when I didn’t have a headlight I got pulled over about once a week.

Here is a closer look at the amazing artwork that @just_me_av did for my book plate I am going to be signing and giving away with every pre-sale of my book, Chasers of the Light. This is my actual typewriter, and I love it. Remember, in addition to receiving a signed bookplate, I will also be donating one dollar for every single pre-sale to one of my favorite charities, @twloha Head here for more details:TylerKnott.com/chasers Or click the link in my bio.
